Editorial policy

These are the rules our editorial team follows when researching clinics, writing guides and publishing prices. They exist so you can judge how much weight to give what you read here.

Sourcing

Clinic facts come from public Google Business profiles, clinic websites and, where published, Turkish Ministry of Health licensing records. Medical statements are checked against peer-reviewed dermatology and hair restoration literature (ISHRS guidance, PubMed-indexed studies) rather than clinic brochures.

How rankings work

Default clinic ordering combines the Google rating with the number of reviews behind it, so a large volume of consistent reviews outweighs a handful of perfect scores. Clinic type also matters: medical centres and specialist clinics are grouped ahead of general and university hospitals, because they are what patients searching for hair transplants are looking for. Nothing about this ordering is for sale.

Advertising and commercial relationships

The site is funded by display advertising and clearly labelled brand listings. Paid listings never alter rankings, review scores or the wording of a clinic profile, and we take no commission on any operation booked.

Medical accuracy

We publish ranges and typical outcomes, never guarantees. Prices, graft counts and healing timelines are presented with the variables that change them. Content is informational and does not replace an in-person examination by a licensed physician.

Updating

Prices are reviewed at least annually and after significant currency movements. Clinic ratings and review counts are refreshed on a rolling basis. Every guide carries the year it applies to so readers can judge freshness.

Corrections

Report an error and we verify it against the original source. Confirmed factual errors are corrected promptly, and material corrections are noted on the page. Clinics may request updates to their own data but cannot request removal of accurate public review information.

AI use

Drafting tools may be used to structure or translate content, but every published page is reviewed and edited by a human before it goes live, and facts are verified against the sources above.
